A Peek At the Family of Wall Decor Plus More

Hey there!

Today I would like to introduce you to all our employees of the Wall Decor Plus More (WDPM) family. And we really are a family because we are all related to each other in one way or another. We have a couple nieces, cousins and even sister-in-laws working here.

Kristi started WDPM in October 2009, as a way to bring in extra income. As a mom of 5 kids, and having her husband trucking, she decided to try something from home. She started off with a project for her mom, and began some other small projects. Soon, she came to the conclusion that she could do this from her house and be home for her kids as well as bringing in a little more income. And away she went.

Now, WDPM has been in business almost 4 and 1/2 years now!! It has expanded from a small office upstairs to taking up the basement, and in a few months will be expanding to a much larger shop. We couldn't be more excited!!

Currently, we have 11 workers total. Some have been with us since the beginning and others have only been here a few months. We already have Kristi, so we only have Danielle, Jo, Alyssa, Kayla, Lisa, Marrissa, Elsa, Katie, Shawna and myself (Cassie) left to talk about :)

About a year after Kristi got started, she asked Danielle to work for her. Danielle is now in high school, and usually works an afternoon shift. She also comes in most Saturdays.

Jo is the second person that Kristi hired to help her out. She started in the summer of 2011. She is also in high school and does the same shift as Danielle. These two girls get to pick their days off because of their seniority in the business.
