Summer is about being outside and making memories. Whether you are going camping, RVing, or staging a staycation, you'll want activities that will draw the family in and be super fun and different. So what are some summer family fun ideas that you can do in your backyard? Lawn Games are a less expensive, great way to go, and there are so many to play nowadays!
-If you like to yell 'Yahtzee!', you can make your own oversized Yahtzee dice with polka dot stickers, ready to apply to your larger than life dice.
-Play super-sized kick croquet with half-buried hula-hoops and large balls. You can paint the lines on the balls if you want it to look more authentic to the original game.
-Is cornhole more your style? Show your competitive side while working on hand-eye co-ordination with monogrammed vinyl decals for a cornhole beanbag game. Delivered with your name and date to make it extra special.
-Set up water balloon pinatas! Tie the balloons up high, blindfold the suspect, and set them loose with a pinata stick! Cool, wet times ahead!
-Play Angry Birds in real life! Stack up cardboard boxes, and use balloons for the pigs, and balls for the birds! Just make sure to set this up away from any houses or anything breakable, because it's on!
-Set up Yard Twister using ground marking spray, and you won't have to worry about the color ruining your lawn. It will grow out in a couple of weeks. Meantime, you can make as many or few dots as you like, and change the size of them depending on the size of the people involved (little people might need smaller dots!)
There are so many great ways to have fun whether it's in your own back yard or at a park or campground. Games help draw the family together, and make so many great memories for everyone. We hope you've gotten some great ideas for family fun outdoors!
