Here's a simple test (or request a FREE tester HERE)...apply a strip of masking tape to your wall and see if the tape sticks, if the tape falls off, your painted walls have an additive that repels adhesive and stains.

This is an easy sticker to apply. It comes with instructions on how to apply it but it's pretty much common sense on how you need to do it, so I didn't pay attention to those. I just recommend that you take your time when doing it. And you use a credit card, or a debit card, doesn't matter which, to help you smooth out the paper and sticker as you apply them. It's also good to use the card to get air bubbles out from underneath the letters during and after the applying process. It's a very helpful tool to have. When I applied it, there were little bitty separate parts of the sticker that would try and stay stuck on the paper, so you have to make sure you don't over look those are you may end up regretting it in the end. I don't know for sure though because I noticed them during the process. lol Also, be super careful and take it easy on pulling the letters as you are pulling the paper off of the wall or you may end up with torn letter(s) like I had. There was one area that I tore slightly but nothing too bad where it changed the appearance of the sticker itself. You just have to be careful. I can guarantee you that if you do everything correctly and carefully, you will be very satisfied with this product!! We have it on a solid black wall in my teenage daughter's bedroom and man it looks great and really stands out
